Ostrich Ranch and Durbanville Wine Valley

The CapeTown Ostrich Ranch is home to the West Coast white ostrich, dwarf ostriches, black-necked ostriches, emus, rheas, peacocks and ostrich chicks and offers guided tours. There are a restaurant and curio shop with a selection of quality ostrich and other leather products and crystals(precious stones).
The Durbanville Wine Valley was one of the earliest farming areas. The original estates were granted in 1698. A number of the farms are still run by families who have owned the land for many generations, some families have been making wine for six generations. Each winery has its own charm and country elegance through the collection of wines they produce and the culinary experiences they have on offer.
The 12 wine farms are: Altydgedacht, Bloemendal, D’Aria, Diemersdal, De Grendel, Durbanville Hills, Hillcrest, Klein Roosboom, Meerendal, Nitida, Phizante Kraal wines and Signal Gun.
